Interactive English language training

We use Cambridge University Press teachers and books for our English language training. Students attend two hours of lessons each week and are given interactive CD-Roms and audio CDs to guide their personal studies. They are taken through a series of exercises that help to explain and embed different areas of the English language.

Training employees in a wide range of skills

We offer a myriad of training programs to our workforce in order to equip them with skills and knowledge required for performing their tasks effectively and even to broaden their theoretical scope in new domains.

  • Our vocational programs cover a range of different skills that are required in welding and mechanical. The training courses are comprehensive and can last several weeks.
  • Our basic welding course, for example, takes six weeks. It includes among other welding techniques; safe work practices, identifying materials, reading and interpreting welding symbols, and preparing joints.
  • Our advanced welding course, takes 6 weeks. The outcomes of this course are:
  • Acquisition of required knowledge and skills to be able to select electrodes, steel plate, steel pipe.
  • Performing welding in all positions practicing on welding simulator.
  • Torch cutting is a ten-day course that involves learning about safe welding practices, standard equipment, assembly cutting equipment, operating a cutting torch, cutting techniques and troubleshooting.
  • Our theoretical training program takes 12 weeks and involves learning how to take accurate measurements, welding and construction techniques, drawing, and assembly methods.
  • Our basic mechanical training program takes 6 weeks and includes: 
  • Instruments of measurement.
  • Different types of pumps.
  • Maintenance of pumps.
  • Identification of different parts of a pump.
  • Overhaul and assembly of Warman pumps in accordance with safe work practices.
  • Various kinds of faults on pumps and how to solve (technical failures, circuit failures, and failures linked to priming).
  • Use of lifting equipment, mounting and removing bearing, fit seal and gland packing, Mounting and removing Mechanical seal etc…
  • Our basic mechanical training program takes 6 weeks and includes:
  • Different types of valves.
  • Valve maintenance and repairs.
  • Gearbox maintenance and repairs.
  • Lubrication system, grease lubrication methods, and oil lubrication methods.
  • Maintenance of conveyor belts and conveyor belt alignment.
  • Vibrator screen maintenance, centrifugal concentrator maintenance, and different types of centrifugal pumps.
  • Pump maintenance and repairs.
  • Different types of coupling, and maintenance and alignment of coupling etc…
  • English and French classes are available on-demand. They cover a wide range of different proficiency levels. The first level in each language addresses basic words and phrases that are critical to communication in the workplace. For the English courses we use Cambridge University Press teachers and book’s books. We offer Arabic lessons for non-Arabic speaking employees as well in an attempt to bridge the communication and cultural gap between expats and local.
  • To enable learners to acquire the basics of mathematic, this include: calculation, geometry, measurements and situational problems.
  • Our online University includes over 4,000 learning items with technical, commercial and leadership learning sourced from subject-matter specialists (including EduMine, CrossKnowledge and, others) and validated by our own internal experts. To make the University practical, all the learning takes less than one hour to complete. 112 MCM supervisors have access to this university.
  • Based on training needs we bring experts to conduct onsite training for large target group and we send individuals to attend overseas training courses. From 2013 to 2015, we sent 60 employees to attend overseas short courses in different locations.
  • Basic computer classes are offered at the Training Center as well. They cover the following MS applications from basic to advanced levels;

  • We also have two software programs that teach typing.
  • The First Aids training program provides our staff with best practices in handling emergency case even when makeshift plans are necessary.
